Terms of Entry + FAQ


Entry is FREE & ALL AGES
Children are welcome, but must be in the presence of an adult guardian at all times in licensed areas.
Entry to the event is subject to capacity. We do expect lines at the gate & advise to arrive early to ensure you don’t miss out. 

How to get to the Event:
FREE Shuttle Bus from Port Adelaide Train Station to the Brewery
We will be offering a shuttle bus from the Port Adelaide Train Station to the brewery. This will tee up with the trains that arrive from the CBD & can return you back to the station when you want to go home. Get the timetable information here!
Or if you prefer to get some exercise before you drink some brews, it's around a 15 minute walk to the brewery. 

FREE Bus from City:
We want to ensure that you get to and from our party safely! That is why we've teamed up with LinkSA to offer a FREE HOURLY bus from the city!
**This is a hop on, hop off service and subject to capacity. We cannot guarantee a seat on this bus. We also have a strict timeline and the bus will not wait. If you miss the bus, you’ll be able to check the time table here for the next one. Find the timetable here.

Adelaide Metro – Bus:
Jump on board bus 252 and get off at "Bus Stop 38 or 39" just off St. Vincent Street with a 2 minute walk to the brewery. 

Designated Drivers:
The champions that keep us all safe! Please note that there will be limited car parking near the brewery. Please ensure that you arrive early to secure a space on the surrounding streets. There will be coffee, tea & non-alcoholic drinks also available. 

Conditions of Entry to the event:
This is a FREE Event and subject to capacity of 2000 people at any one time 
We do expect a line up at the gate. So, arrive early to avoid the line or any disappointment
We cannot guarantee entry if we hit capacity
●     Please have your bags ready for inspection by Security for your safety
●     All IDs will be checked at the Main Gate for bar service. Please have it ready for inspection upon arrival

What to bring:
Empty Water Bottle
Be sunsmart – bring a hat & sunscreen

Do not bring:
Food, drinks, glassware, metal cutlery, tents, folding chairs, or pets
●     Security reserves the right to refuse items that they deem to be unsafe or against the Venue Policies & Terms of Entry

Responsible Service of Alcohol:
No ID No Service. Bartenders reserve the right to:
refuse service as they deem necessary
ask for ID from any person who looks under 25 years

We will have EFTPOS terminals at bars, merch & catering
●     We recommend you bring cash on site to avoid queues. There will be ATMs on site

All bags are subject to safety and security search upon entry. Any prohibited items will be taken from you before entering into the festival
Please bring your ID cards which will be inspected on entry
Please note, that if a bartender is unsure of your age (whether or not you have a +18 wristband), they will ask to sight your ID before service. If you do not have your ID, you will not be served alcohol at our festival
We all just want to be mates! We have a no tolerance policy for any bad behaviour towards staff or other patrons. If at all your behaviour is deemed to be in conflict with our policy, you will be asked to leave the event
●     Wristbands must be worn at all times, any patron spotted without a wristband will be asked to leave the event

Pass outs:
Pass outs are available for the event. However, please note that the Venue is subject to capacity. We cannot guarantee re-entry after pass out
Priority for re-entry will be given to those who have pass outs

Wheelchair Accessible:
Pirate Life Port Adelaide is wheelchair accessible. There are no stairs, and there are access toilets on site near the Main Bar. Please feel free to speak to our Staff for directions

Weather Policy:
Pirate Life Brewing Pty Ltd have an extreme weather policy. If Pirate Life management & emergency services deem that the event is unsafe to ahead, we will cancel the event and notify event guests via email & social media
